Hi Wolf and Friends! I wanted to provide you with a quick mental health tip this week: "In the moment" self-care! Here are two examples of "in the moment" self-care or relaxation techniques: deep breathing and guided imagery. 7-11 breathing is a great place to start. It's simple. Breathe in for 7 seconds, and breathe out for 11. Do this as many times as you need to calm down in any situation. Guided imagery is also helpful. Think of this as "picturing your happy place!" What does that look like for you? The beach? Maybe your bedroom? Use all of your senses (touch, taste, smell, see, and hear) to describe this place.
